HAMPDEN league talents Martin Gleeson and Lewis Taylor have earned AFL mark and goal of the year nominations in the same round.

Essendon defender Gleeson was selected for his courageous mark against Greater Western Sydney on Sunday.

The emerging Bomber, who was drafted from Koroit, flew against the flight of the ball in a gusty display.

Hawthorn key forward Tim O’Brien and North Melbourne utility Mason Wood are the other round 13 mark of the year nominees.

Brisbane excitement machine Taylor earned his nod for a cracking dribbling goal from the boundary line during the Lions’ loss to West Coast on Saturday.

The Terang Mortlake export was nominated alongside Fremantle ball magnet Michael Barlow and Essendon youngster Orazio Fantasia. 

Barlow’s older brother Herb plays for North Warrnambool Eagles.
