TWO Warrnambool men have been charged with drug and weapons offences after police stopped their vehicle in east Warrnambool.

Detective Sergeant Chris Asenjo, of the Warrnambool police divisional response unit, said officers were involved in the random intercept of a vehicle on Tuesday afternoon in McGregors Road.
There were two men in the car and the passenger, a man in his 20s, was found to be wanted on warrants of apprehension after failing to answer bail on weapons and driving charges.
He was also found in possession of a small amount of ice and has been charge with that offence.
The 20-year-old driver failed an on-the-spot oral drug fluid test and was also found in possession of a small quantity of ice.
Police officers also found knuckle dusters, a taped up baseball bat, a significant amount of cash, deal bags, digital scales and text messages on a mobile telephone relating to the sale of drugs.
The 20-year-old man has been charged with trafficking and possess ice and weapons offences.
Inquiries are continuing into the positive driver drug test.
