Tammy Bolden, 42, of Cherlin Drive, appeared in the Warrnambool Magistrates Court charged with offences including refusing to undertake an alcohol breath test and driving in a manner dangerous.
She was convicted, fined $750 with $117 costs and banned from driving for two years.
Magistrate Peter Mellas said it was fortunate that no one was injured.
Police said that on the night of February 4 Bolden was heading east on Breton Street when she collided with the rear of a parked car near the intersection with Moonah Street.
Significant damage was caused.
Bolden stopped for a few seconds before driving off home.
Police followed gouge marks on the road to Bolden's home.
She answered the front door but refused to do an alcohol breath test.
Officers said her eye lids were heavy and her speech slurred.
Police went back to her home with a warrant at 5am and found Bolden's damaged car in her garage.
She said she didn't want to get caught and that she was terribly embarrassed and sorry.
