THREE Portland youths, aged 15 and 16 years, have been charged with aggravated burglary after being confronted by a man in his own home.

Detective Senior Constable Jarrod Anderson, of the Portland police crime investigation unit, said the three youths entered a home in south Portland about 11pm Monday.
They were confronted by a man in his 20s and a scuffle took place before the youths fled.
The man lives with his mother.
The offenders were identified and two were arrested in the early hours of Tuesday.
The third was arrested about 9am Tuesday.
All three were charged and bailed to appear in a court on July 26.
It is not known if anything was stolen from the home before the intruders were disturbed.
