A new netball pavilion will be built at Portland’s Hanlon Park to provide for its growing netball competition following a state government funding commitment. The $290,000 courtside development will provide two change room areas, two showers and two toilets with separate space for umpires, in addition to a storage area. The Portland Football Netball Club have been awarded a $100,000 female friendly facilities grant, plus $140,000 from the Glenelg Shire Council, with a further $50,000 raised by the club.
