The 26 students had to use initiative to get the car prepared, including customising it for the performance and working within a budget.
“It’s something different from normal class work,” student Matthew Mugavin said.
He said he gained new skills by learning to communicate as a team.
“It’s good to be able to help the school out and contribute to the production,” he said.

The business held two weekend workshops to help the students work on the car.
