The Bloods dropped a home game to North Warrnambool Eagles last round and will now travel to take on an in-form Cobden. After starting with three losses, the Bombers have set about resurrecting their season, winning their last three games. Cobden is fourth, one of four teams with a 3-3 record. Koroit, North Warrnambool Eagles and Warrnambool are the others.
The Eagles have a huge task ahead of them at Bushfield when they come up against an unbeaten Camperdown in a 2015 grand final re-match.
Warrnambool plays host to Portland, the Tigers going into the game at 2-4 and needing to win to stay in touch.
Hamilton Kangaroos will take confidence into its game against Port Fairy at Gardens Oval. The Kangaroos are coming of their first win of the season, having defeated Warrnambool in round six.
