The Stuart Appleby Junior Tournament will be played on the course.
The tournament will be a stroke event with over 40 players entered to take part.
Promising Warrnambool juniors Noah Best and Will Mackenzie will be among the competitors. As well as players from the region, the event has also attracted golfers from Melbourne. The tournament is part of the Stuart Appleby junior series with a number of similar events held around the state.
Port Fairy is a regular venue for the event, holding the tournament annually.
Other courses to host tournaments in the series include Metropolitan, Kooringal, Keysborough, Woodlands, Yarrawonga and Sandhurst.
The series began in January with the final tournament to be held in August. Points are accrued along the way with an overall winner named at the conclusion of all tournaments.
