From July 1 National Diabetes Service Scheme products will be supplied only to community pharmacies that are NDSS Access points.
Warrnambool-based diabetes educator Ann Morris said there was potential for the system to become more difficult for some people, depending on their access to an accredited pharmacy.

Most Warrnambool pharmacies are access points, but Mrs Morris warned people to be prepared.
“People living in smaller towns will need to review what outlets will be available to them,” she said.
Warrnambool’s Southwest Healthcare will no longer be an access point from July 1.
