Queensland-based Perce Lake, 99, is the only surviving member of the Blues’ 1946 grand final side which defeated Camperdown.
One of his premiership teammates, Kevin Sandow, passed away aged 92 in Warrnambool earlier this month.
Lake was part of Hampden league history in 1937 when he played in a flag alongside his brothers George, Artie and Bill.
The four siblings were also members of the 1946 premiership. A fifth brother, Stan, played for the Blues too.
Warrnambool, which has won 29 senior flags in its 155-year history, will celebrate its 1946, ‘66, ‘76 and ‘86 triumphs on June 11.
The Blues’ 1966 and ‘76 under 18 premiers and 2006 senior netball side will also be honoured.
“The club is very proud of its history and we’ve been lucky enough to win as many premierships as we have,” Warrnambool chairman Garry McLeod said.
