Dancing up a storm

WARRNAMBOOL ladies will be wearing long gloves and the gentlemen will have their best dinner suits on when they kick up their heels for three days of dancing.

The Warrnambool and District Dance Club will host the dance balls tonight, tomorrow night and Sunday.

Dance club spokeswoman Barbara Cathie said tomorrow night’s ball will include sashes for star of the dance and after-five wear.

She said couples from across Victoria and South Australia would be dressing up for the weekend, with women wearing long dresses or after-five wear and men wearing dinner suits and bow ties.

Tonight’s dance is at the Allansford hall in Ziegler Parade from 8pm till midnight.

Tomorrow night’s dance is at the Temperance Hall in Koroit Street, from 8pm till midnight.

On Sunday the dance will be back at Allansford.
