A HOMELESS Hamilton man who twice refused to pull over for police and drove off at about 150km/h will appear in court on Monday.

Hamilton police Sergeant Rex Habel said the 58-year-old Hamilton man had been living in his car for the past three months.
About 9.30pm on Saturday a Heywood police officer saw the man driving his Ford Futura sedan without headlights operating and with one tail light out.
When the officer attempted to intercept the Ford sedan the driver accelerated to an estimated speed of between 140-150km/h along the Princes Highway at Drumborg.
The driver was heading east towards Heywood.
At the intersection of Princes Highway and Henty Highway police again attempted to intercept the driver.
He turned north onto Henty Highway and accelerated away at a similar speed and the officer did not engage in a pursuit.
Sergeant Habel said that at 11.30pm Saturday a Byaduk North farmer notified Hamilton police that a strange vehicle and come onto his property.
Hamilton police officers attended, the Ford Futura sedan was located and the driver arrested.
The man was remanded in custody to appear in the Warrnambool Magistrates Court on Monday.
He has been charged with a range of serious driving offences including dangerous dangerous and evading police.
His vehicle has been impounded.
The man has a limit criminal history in Victoria but a more extensive record in South Australia.
