The Kangaroos showed they are a force to be reckoned with on Saturday night, beating 2015 preliminary finalist Terang Mortlake 15.11 (101) to 10.8 (68).
Despite coming off a five-day break, the home side started on fire, kicking 10 first-half goals to two to lead by nearly 50 points at the main break, holding on to win by 33 as the Bloods lifted after half-time.
“We had three really good quarters of footy,” Kangaroos coach Matt Dunn said.
“(We) probably had a bit of belief from last week.
“We were able to use the ball well and use it to our advantage.”
