A man who escaped from the Dhurringile Prison earlier this week has been arrested by police – after being spotted waiting at a bus stop.

Geoffrey Smith, 39, was last seen at the minimum-security correctional facility, south of Shepparton, at about 8.30am on Tuesday before he absconded.
The public were urged not to approach him but to call police if they saw him.
Mr Smith was found on Friday night by police, reportedly at a bus stop at Morrell Street in Mooroopna, which is about 25 kilometres from the prison.
He has been charged with escape from prison and will appear in the Shepparton Magistrates' Court on Monday.
