Race 7: BACKBONE had a tendon injury last prep. We've done extensive beach work. He's had three runs from a spell. I think this run should bring him to peak fitness.
Race 9: INVINCIBLE ME had a very good win at Colac last time. He's won two of his last four and jumps in grade but should run well. Definite each way hope with John Allen in the saddle.
Race 9: MATAGAMI has only been with us for three weeks from Ballarat. We're just hopeful the beach work will improve him.
Race 10: LABUAN STAR had genuine excuses for last two runs. If he can get some luck from the horror draw, he's got some hope.
BEST CHANCE: ANCIENT KING. I reckon he will be hard to beat in race three, a hurdle.
