Breast cancer, you can make a difference

With Breast Cancer Awareness Month kicking off, it’s the perfect time for us to say a huge thank-you to the Warrnambool community who have supported us and the fantastic work of our Warrnambool McGrath Breast Care nurse, Rebecca Hay.

We are so proud to say we have 77 McGrath Breast Care nurses working nationally who have helped support more than 16,000 Australian families through their breast cancer experience in the last four years, with another five McGrath Breast Care nurses to be placed in the coming months.

Today though, we want to ask for your help to support other families experiencing breast cancer, so they too can have access to the support of a McGrath Breast Care nurse, just like your community.

We know we need 150 McGrath Breast Care nurses to ensure every family experiencing breast cancer has access to a breast care nurse no matter where they live or their financial situation.

You can get involved by getting your local Little Athletics Centre registered for Pinkletics, hosting your own event, buying something pink with our logo from your local supermarket or our website, joining our regular giving program — Circle of Friends — or simply making a donation.

Visit www.mcgrathfoundation.com.au because together, we can make a difference!
