TWO women were taken to hospital after they were assaulted by three men at their Armstrong Grove home in Warrnambool on Saturday. A woman, 52, suffered mild concussion and a woman, 24, suffered knee abrasions. Police said the assaults followed a verbal confrontation at a nearby playground involving children. “It’s a cowardly attack on two defenceless females,” Detective Senior Constable Wayne Ryan said. The three men were aged in their early 20s.
