Led by captain Lachie Green (60 not out), Cobden posted 7-221 batting first, before dismissing the Bulls for 110 in 41.1 overs.
The win put Cobden within eight points off fourth spot with two rounds remaining.
Green said he had put the onus on the top order to ensure they made runs and gave the team a solid base, which they did, with opening combination Kaplan McCann and Matthew Harkin putting on 67 runs.
“I was happy with the opening partnership, it set up the platform for the middle and lower order,” Green said.
He said fielding was the difference between the two teams, with Cobden holding vital catches.
