"Yeah, it's a big achievement," Tett said. "But we're just more worried about the game, we need to have a win for this week against Weston Creek, because they're a strong side, another top four side that we need to knock off."

It will be a clash of the titans this weekend, with Tett's third-ranked Eastlake side going up against second-ranked Weston Creek with only two points separating the teams on the ladder.

Eastlake will be eager to make up for last week's loss on first-innings points to Wests-UC, in which Tett scored a half-century but was helpless to prevent their batsmen from running away with the match.

"We had a disappointing result last week against Wests, so we really need to knock off Weston Creek this weekend."

Tett was pleased with how the team had jelled as a unit after finishing on top of the ladder in the one-day tournament, but said their bowling needed to improve as a unit if they were a chance of making finals for the first time in five years.

"It's important that the younger guys who are coming through that have done really well, they make sure that they keep hitting their lines and lengths, keep to our areas and control the things that we can keep on top of.

"I think we've still got the bowlers to do the job, we just have to execute our plans well."

Eastlake face Weston Creek at Stirling Oval on Saturday, and the match begins at 11:00 AM. At the same time, Ginninderra will take on Tuggeranong Valley at Kippax, North Canberra Gungahlin go up against Queanbeyan at Harrison, and ANU will contest Western District at ANU North.
