Three workshops in Heywood will illustrate the benefits of the town’s early years family inclusion program. The initiative helped more than half the enrolled pupils at Heywood Kindergarten over the past two years to build a passion for reading and learning. Pupils improved their concentration, social skills and confidence. The next sessions are on Thursday at Heywood Library from 10am, on Friday at the Indigenous Playgroup from 11am and on Tuesday, February 23 at Heywood Playgroup from 10.30am.
