Film The Lady in the Van, starring British acting royalty Maggie Smith, will help raise funds for the plight of people in South Sudan next month.

The film stars Smith alongside Alex Jennings in a script adapted from the play of the same name. It tells the story of elderly woman Mary Shepherd, who parked a van in Alan Bennett’s London driveway for 15 years.
The film night fund-raiser will be held on March 10 from 6.30pm at Warrnambool’s Capitol Cinema.
