Dunn shot an opening round 70 on Saturday to take the lead. This score is three behind Dunn’s course record of 67 which he shot in 2013. Second is Rodney Keane from Bacchus Marsh who hit a career-best 72.
In third is last year’s winner Scott Boschen on 73 along with Shane Gurnett while equal fifth on 75 is Michael Romanes and Nelson Williams.
In B grade, the leader after round one is Jim McGeechan on 81. Second is Neil Cahill (84), third is Paul Glynn and Trevor Shaw (85) while Keith Pincombe (86) rounds out the top five.
The C grade leader after the opening round is Russell Jones on 86. He leads from Damian Killeen (87), Alex Rochfort (89), Adrian Jones (90) and Peter Keane (92).
The championship is over four rounds with the next installment on Saturday.
