South West Bottle and Collectable club president Ron Cashmore said the event featured displays, and a swap and sell section.
He said there was a range of bottles on show, some valued as high as $20,000.
“But it’s not about how much a bottle is worth It’s about the story behind the bottle, how you dug it up, how you found it. The value is a bonus.”
He said bottles were valued based on their rarity and their overall condition.
“You might have a bottle manufactured by a company who was only around for a few years before going out of business,” he said.
“If a rare bottle has no chips or scratches it becomes even more valuable.”
Mr Cashmore said the event, held over Saturday and Sunday, was well attended, with people interested to see the items displayed.
