Western Sydney Wanderers marquee Federico Piovaccari must fight to earn place in A-League squad

Western Sydney Wanderers coach Tony Popovic will leave the door open for striker Federico Piovaccari to return to the match day squad but warned the Italian marquee must now earn his place on the team sheet after an unimpressive start to the A-League. The 31-year-old striker appears to have fallen out of favour with the club and could again be omitted from their 16-man squad for Saturday's match against Melbourne Victory.
