Western Star butter has won multiple awards over the years including previous Grand Dairy Awards and Dairy Industry Association of Australia Dairy Product Awards.
Fonterra Regional Manager – West Andrew Nooy said the awards highlighted the quality of Fonterra’s products manufactured at the Cobden site.
“We use cream from our farmers in the western district of Victoria to make our Western Star range – an Australian favourite,” he said.
Bulla’s Creme Fraiche and Heidi Farm’s Gruyere cheese were the two grand champion winners at the awards.
