Roberta Williams wants access to the prison computer of her slain ex-husband Carl, which contains letters he wrote to underworld figures and family members.

Ms Williams has made a court bid to access the computer, which police are planning to oppose because of the sensitive nature of some of the documents it contains.
It is understood a forensic audit of the computer conducted by police uncovered dozens of letters, including some sent to Roberta and his daughter Dhakota, and others meant only for the eyes of fellow gangsters.
Ms Williams' application to access the computer will be decided in Melbourne Magistrates' Court later this month.
The Homicide Squad are listed as informants in the matter, as the computer was seized as part of the investigation into Williams' slaying inside Barwon Prison in 2010.
Matthew Johnson, a fellow inmate in the prison's maximum-security Acacia Unit, was convicted of the murder.
While police oppose the release of letters which Williams had sent to people other than family members, it is believed the Victorian Government Solicitor's Office is still assessing whether it can fight the application on these grounds.
Corrections Victoria has been consulted about the application, given that the computer remains the property of the agency.

It has been an eventful past six months for the Williams family.
Last July, Ms Williams and Carl's father George were targeted in a series of shooting and firebomb attacks at their houses in Melbourne's north-west.
Two men were charged with the incidents, and the shooting of a police officer, allegedly as they were travelling to again target Ms Williams' house.

About a week after the attacks, Roberta and George Williams settled a Supreme Court legal bid against the state government.
The pair had sued the government for failing to protect Williams from being beaten to death by Johnson, who is a founding member of the notorious Prisoners of War gang.
A reportedly six-figure sum was paid by the state government into a trust for Dhakota, who will not be able to access the money until 2019, when she turns 18.
The terms of the settlement were confidential, but the government said it did not accept liability for Williams' death.
