WARRNAMBOOL police have repeated a request for information after the theft of a new white Mack prime mover and trailer from the Corangamite Shire depot in Camperdown late last month.
Senior Constable Kimberley Wheeler, of the Warrnambool police divisional priorities unit, said thieves had cut a lock on a gate into the Gellie Street depot overnight on Monday, August 27.
She said the truck, valued about $300,000 and loaded with scoria, was then started, removed from the depot and another lock put on the gate.
The truck had Corangamite Shire Council stickers on it and registration plates TGX-652. The trailer registration is Q55108.
"The investigation is still ongoing at this stage and anyone with information is requested to contact the Warrnambool police station or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000," Senior Constable Wheeler said.
