The Port Fairy all-rounder was a key player in the Victorian team that took part in the Cricket Australia under 15 championships in Tasmania over the last week.
The championships concluded on Tuesday with Victoria winning the bronze medal game against New South Wales metropolitan.
This came after Victoria finished third after winning six of the seven qualifying matches.
A highlight of the week was Australian captain Meg Lanning coming along to watch one of the games.
Wynd was happy with her performance.
“It went alright, we were a bit unlucky not to make the final,” Wynd said.
“It was a pretty high standard of cricket, there were some really good players.”
Wynd had limited opportunities with the bat during the championships but did well when called on, finishing unbeaten in three of her six innings.
It was with the ball where she shone brightest, sending down 37 overs of her off-spinners for the week.
This workload brought with it a haul of 11 wickets at an average of 8.30. Her best figures were 3-19.
It was a pretty high standard of cricket, there were some really good players.
