But anyone who tucked into the meal would likely need an emergency dentist appointment, because the food is all made entirely out of icing sugar.
The art installation, which will be featured in the main lobby of Melbourne's iconic Windsor Hotel until January, is rendered in painstaking detail, right down to the bubbles on the top of the gravy.
The sugary sculpture took artists The Hotham Street Ladies over a month to create and consists of more than 50 kilograms of icing sugar.
The five women also infused the food with classic Christmas scents of marzipan and cloves.
The hotel commissioned the Christmas at The Windsor installation to celebrate its 132nd festive season on Spring Street.
The work is free to view until January 5.
