Detectives are investigating a report of a peeping Tom in Melbourne's north-east after a teenage girl saw someone outside her bathroom window.

The girl told police she saw a figure through the window's frosted glass in Chirnside Park last week.
The Yarra Ranges crime investigation unit wants to speak to anybody who saw a person loitering around Glendale Drive on Tuesday, November 24 at about 5.30pm.
A family member went outside to check the area after being alerted to the sighting by the girl but nobody was found.
Police do not have a description of the person.
