During a visit to Flagstaff Hill to view progress on government funded improvements last week, Ms Pulford talked up the government’s commitment to regional Victoria.
Ms Pulford said the regional review and subsequent regional statement highlighted opportunities for jobs growth.
“The regional review process has given us a much clearer sense of about the need to be supporting our regional communities to participate in this transformative thing that is the digital economy,” she said.
“But also to be part of the rapidly growing opportunities that come from change in China and other significant trading partners.
