Walsh, who has replaced David Buckle in the top role, said the Hampden league club was busy preparing for next season.
“We want to continue along our path of promoting our juniors to senior ranks and strengthening our reserves side,” he said.
“From a netball side of things, we have a new coach in Nadine McNamara, so they (the players) have been hard at work.
“We want to see a lot of families at our club in 2016.
“We want to be known as a family club, which we have been in over the years, but we will be heavily intensifying that.”
Walsh said adding experience to complement the Bombers’ young senior list was paramount.
The Bombers, who have lost skipper Sam Cunnington to arch rival Camperdown, are busy recruiting.
Lincoln Dare has returned from Colac and District league Alvie, where he won the best and fairest this year.
“Where we fell down last year was leaders on the ground with Hampden league experience and talls have been our number one focus with recruiting,” Walsh said.
“We believe we have enough mid-sized players and we have to allow spots for the natural progression of our juniors.”
Cobden co-coach Wayne Robertson said the Bombers were thrilled to welcome Dare back after a season at Alvie.
“He is a big body, so it’s really pleasing for us,” he said.
