A 20-year-old man is in critical condition after colliding with a power pole in Sorrento early this morning.
Investigators believe a Holden commodore was travelling north on the Point Nepean Road, when the driver lost control and struck a power pole shortly before 2.20am.
The driver and sole occupant of the car has been taken to the Royal Melbourne Hospital.
