More than 1400 properties remain without power, after an outage on Wednesday afternoon.
Service has been restored to about 1000 homes. The remaining 1400 properties are expected to be operational by 11pm, according to a Powercor spokeswoman.
EARLIER
A fallen tree on the Camperdown-Cobden Road has cut power to more than 2400 properties in the Corangamite area.
A Powercor spokeswoman said a high voltage powerline that supplied many of the region’s customers was affected, which was why a large number of homes and businesses were without power.
The outage began at 5pm and crews are working at the site to restore power by 7pm.
