The eight-day tour will leave Melbourne in February and visit dairy farms, research and processing facilities and agricultural sites on New Zealand’s South Island. The tour, which will have six participants, is funded by the Gardiner Foundation and is organised by the United Dairyfarmers of Victoria.
Mr Conheady works on his family’s Eirenclare farm at Noorat and has been involved with South Ecklin dairy discussion group. Mr Glennen works on his family’s dairy farm at Terang and has been involved with the development of the Ecklin, Noorat and Panmure dairy discussion groups.
