A MAN is believed to have been arrested after police executed a search warrant at a house in Warrnambool yesterday
Warrnambool police confirmed they executed a search warrant at 8am at a home, which led to a number of documents being seized.
A police spokesman said the action yesterday morning was part of an ongoing investigation.
It is understood the home is owned by a former Warrnambool Football Netball Club (WFNC) employee.
A Warrnambool man is understood to have been arrested and placed in the police station cells before being interviewed.
It is believed he made a "no comment" interview.
A WFNC spokesperson declined to comment yesterday.
The development followers widespread rumors and calls to The Standard in the past three weeks relating to issues surrounding the Warrnambool Football Club.
