A 24-year-old man has allegedly been kidnapped at gunpoint after a car-jacking near Bendigo this morning.
Police said the car-jacking had taken place in Happy Valley Road in Long Gully and the man had escaped from his captors after being ordered to drive to a house in nearby Kangaroo Flat.
Two Bendigo men, aged 49 and 24, are being questioned by police over the incident, which started shortly after midnight.
A police spokeswoman said officers were called to the house in Symes Street, Kangaroo Flat about 12.30pm after reports of an aggravated burglary involving a gun and a knife.
The kidnapped man was found at the house, but his alleged attackers had fled. Police arrested the men a short time later in High Street, Kangaroo Flat.
The men had allegedly smashed down a door at the Symes Street house after the victim had escaped and locked them outside.
