Two arrested over shopping centre stabbing

Police have arrested two men in relation to a stabbing that happened in Melbourne's east earlier this month.

Yesterday police executed warrants at four properties in Noble Park, Springvale and Keysborough in relation to the incident that occurred in a shopping centre car park in Burwood on September 1.

The two men, both from Springvale and aged in their 20s, are expected to face the Melbourne Magistrates Court today. They are expected to be charged with attempted murder, intentionally causing serious injury and affray following the incident.

A 31-year-old man from Bayswater received non-life threatening injuries in the incident but was taken to The Alfred hospital.
