The South West Coast independent candidate staged a “Ride with Roy” event on Tuesday, driving his vehicle along Warrnambool’s Raglan Parade.
Mr Reekie spoke to The Standard on camera about a particular section of potholed highway near the old Fletcher Jones factory at Pleasant Hill.
The Warrnambool solicitor is one of several candidates in the South West Coast and Polwarth by-election races to push for bolstered road funding following a call from Corangamite Shire mayor Chris O’Connor last week.
