Atwell will be back in Bulldogs’ colours following a stint at Allansford.
Captain Chris Bant said his team goes into Saturday’s Twenty20 game against Yambuk with limited preparation.
“We haven’t really trained, everyone has been busy working,” Bant said. “Wins at the start of the season are handy but I think we will be better in the second half of the season.”
In other matches Killarney plays Grassmere and Hawkesdale hosts Purnim.
