Despite rumours he was snubbed by 22-year-old Bella, TMZ reports that neither of the newlywed's parents were invited to the nuptials in September.
"We're told Tom was not only cool with the decision, he footed the bill for the wedding and party at the fancy schmancy Dorchester hotel [in London]," TMZ reports.
"Some media reports suggest Tom stayed away because Max is not a Scientologist. We're told that was never an issue. We're told Tom and Max get along well ... Max and Bella spent Thanksgiving and XMAS with Tom."
Bella, a hair and make-up artist, married British IT consultant Max Parker in an intimate ceremony attended by a few of the couple's close friends including Bella's adopted brother, Connor.

The bride, who is said to have started dating her husband earlier this year, wore a white lace mini dress and was attended by bridesmaids, friends from the Vidal Sassoon Academy where she studied, wore pink pant suits.
Bella and 20-year-old Connor were adopted in 1992 and 1995 respectively by Nicole Kidman and Cruise, her former husband.
The pair divorce in 2001 and both Connor and Bella stayed living with Cruise.
Kidman recently told DuJour magazine she keeps in regular contact with her children with Cruise.
"I have four children, so to stay in touch with them it's very important," said Kidman, 48, who shares daughters Sunday, 7, and Faith, 4, with second husband Keith Urban. "I'm definitely engaged in [texting] but I don't let it rule my life."
Kidman also spoke about her two oldest children in an interview with The Australian Women's Weekly last year. "They are generous, kind and hardworking," she said. "And these are traits that I love to see in my children."
