FRANCIS NEOH’S MALAYSIAN RESTAURANT PHOTOS: Lighthouse Theatre Atrium, Warrnambool, until November 7. Small selection of photos taken by Mr Neoh of famous faces who visited his restaurant, which used to be located in Liebig Street.
VCE EXHIBITION: Portland Arts Centre, from October 19-November 13. Annual display of works by graduating art students from Bayview College, Casterton Secondary College, Heywood & District Secondary College and Portland Secondary College.
AUSTRALIAN MASTERS IN PRINT: Hamilton Art Gallery, until November 15. From the gallery’s vast collection comes this exhibition of Australian prints dating from the late 19th century to today.
A QUIET PLACE: WAG, until November 22. A retrospective of Warrnambool artist Kathryn Ryan’s south-west landscapes.
NEW ACQUISITIONS: WAG, until November 22. Paintings, sculptures and works on paper that have been recently added to the WAG’s collection.

CABARET: Warrnambool Bowls Club, October 7, 11am. Comedian Al Showman joins Sydney pianist John Watson and his band for a morning of cabaret-style fun.
THE CONFIDENCE MAN: Portland Civic Hall, October 7, 7.30pm. This play about an ordinary family who comes into possession of a large bag of cash invites audience members on stage to take part in the action.
MASK-MAKING WORKSHOP: 99 Liebig St, October 9, 4pm. Workshop for young people as part of Mental Health Week.
FILMMAKING WORKSHOP: Brophy, Warrnambool, October 10, 10am. Short film workshop for people aged 15-25.
