Gow shred the award with onballer Ben Dobson, with the pair polling 81 votes. Maskell Medal winner Isaac Templeton was next on 76.
It was the first win in the award for the pair, although the Dobson name is closely linked to it.
Dobson’s father Brendan won the award a club-record five times while his uncle Damian is a dual winner.
At just 18, Gow is one of the youngest-ever winners of the award.
“I am just really lucky to play in such a good team,” Gow said. “I started the season well but I dropped off a bit towards the end.
“The thing I have learnt most playing senior footy at Koroit is that you have to do your bit as part of the team, everyone works to help the team.”
Gow played his junior football at Hawkesdale-Macarthur before moving to Koroit in 2013.
He was part of North Ballarat Rebels’ TAC Cup team in 2014 before deciding against committing again for 2015, instead concentrating on his role at Koroit and VCE studies.
Gow will have a gap year in 2016. He said he was open to the idea of playing at a higher level should the chance arise.
“I would definitely be up for a listen if I got an approach from a higher league,” Gow said.
“I want to play the highest level I can but if that means staying at Koroit then I would be happy with that too, it would be unbelievable to go for three in a row.”
In other Koroit best-and-fairest counts, Drew O’Grady won the reserves and Matthew Speed the under 18.5s.
In the netball, Teagan Lang won A grade, Millie Mahony A1, Krystal Harrington A2, Amber Peake 17 and under, Chelsea Quinn 15 and under and Caitlyn Bain 13 and under.
Over at the Saints’ close-town rival Port Fairy, Isaac Martin has won the senior best and fairest, his second in a row. Daniel Nicholson was runner-up and Guy Phelps was third.
The reserves award was won by Andrew McCartney while the under 18.5s went to Jack Evans.
In the netball, Sarah Moroney was the A grade best and fairest while Alicia Moloney (A1) and Krsity Pruin (A2) earned the other senior awards.
Carly Watson (17 and under), Jessica Swarbrick (15 and under) and Eloise Swarbrick (13 and under) were the junior winners.
