Vision Australia’s work with people who are blind or have low vision relies on the generosity of Australians across the country.
We know Australia is one of the most charitable nations in the world. Almost three in four of us support charities in our lifetime through everything from holding morning teas to running marathons.
But when it comes to remembering the causes we care about in our wills, most of us don’t do it. In fact, only seven per cent of Australians leave a charitable gift in their will.
That’s why Vision Australia is supporting Include a Charity Week (September 17-23, 2012), and are asking your readers to think about including a charitable gift in their will, after they’ve taken care of their family and friends.
A gift in your will, no matter how big or small, will help charities like Vision Australia continue their important work.
