Dart scored a split points decision win in a 68-kilogram fight against Anu Sit Kru Ting as part of a Rise Muay Thai series round at South Yarra on Friday.
The result took his record to four wins, three draws and four losses from 11 fights. He will seek to improve that when he re-enters the ring on November 28.
Dart, who is trained by David Gibb at Spartan Combat Systems, was pleased with the win, achieved over three two-minute rounds.
He said he improved the longer the fight went on.
“I went back to the game plan, listened to the trainer and came out on top. I kept safe but aggressive and tuckered him out,” he said.
Dart, 22, has trained in muay thai since he was 15, having followed a mate into the sport. He will take a break from serious training with the knowledge preparations will ramp up about six weeks out from his next fight.
