The Glenfyne teen competed in both events on the weekend in Melbourne in the D grade tenor category.
She placed second in the state event, but managed to take out first place in the national competition.
Hayley said she was honoured to win and thanked her Warrnambool Pipe Band tutors Peter Moir and Tanya Cawthorn.
