WARRNAMBOOL Athletics Club has put the call out for volunteers to help ensure the smooth running of the Koroit-to-Warrnambool half-marathon. Runners from across the south-west will lace up their shoes for the 21.1-kilometre event on September 13. People wanting to help out can contact WAC president John Keats on 0478 731 148. Ballarat’s Jason Dalton and Warrnambool’s Alison Wilson are the defending champions.
