SOMEWHERE BETWEEN DOMESTIC & WILD: The Artery, Warrnambool, until September 6. Shelley Knoll-Miller and Rachel Peters combine for this exhibition exploring domesticity and the need to run wild.

NEW GLASS: Hamilton Art Gallery, until October 4. Works from around the world are featured in this glass-themed display from the gallery's collection.
AUSTRALIAN CHILDREN’S BOOK ILLUSTRATIONS: Blarney Books, Port Fairy, and Customs House Gallery, Hawkesdale, September 5-October 4. Annual collection of art from kids’ books from some of the nation’s best illustrators, including Shaun Tan and Anna Walker.
JASMINE MANSBRIDGE: Hamilton Art Gallery, until October 25. Collection of paintings by local artist Jasmine Mansbridge.
FRANCIS NEOH’S MALAYSIAN RESTAURANT PHOTOS: Lighthouse Theatre Atrium, until November 7. Small selection of photos taken by Mr Neoh of famous faces who visited his restaurant, which used to be located in Liebig Street.
AUSTRALIAN MASTERS IN PRINT: Hamilton Art Gallery, until November 15. From the gallery’s vast collection comes this exhibition of Australian prints dating from the late 19th century to today.
A QUIET PLACE: WAG, until November 22. A retrospective of Warrnambool artist Kathryn Ryan’s south-west landscapes.

THE DARK HORSE: Killara Centre, Camperdown, September 3, 7.30pm. Corangamite Film Society screens this award-winning New Zealand biopic about chess player Genesis Potini.
FLOOR TALK: Hamilton Art Gallery, September 4, 6pm. Join Hamilton artist Jasmine Mansbridge as she discusses her new exhibition.
SEWING WORKSHOP: The Artery, September 5, 10am. Bring along your sewing machine or overlocker and learn some basic sewing techniques with Elizabeth Young.
WHIPLASH: Mozart Hall, Warrnambool, September 9, 7.30pm. F Project Cinema screens this Oscar-winner about a jazz student and his abusive instructor.
DOROTHY IN WONDERLAND: Lighthouse Theatre, Warrnambool, September 10-11, noon, and September 12, 1.30pm. Primary Performers stage this musical mash-up of The Wizard Of Oz and Alice In Wonderland.
MY FAIR LADY: King’s College, Warrnambool, September 10-12, 7.30pm. King’s College stage their production based on the 1964 film.
