The Power flew out of the blocks to lead 17-8 at quarter-time before the Cats found their feet and worked themselves back into the game.
By half-time Kolora-Noorat’s lead was 22-21 and by the last break Allansford led 31-27.
The Power got within a goal early in the final term before the Cats pulled away to run out convincing winners. They will now play Dennington in the preliminary final.
Allansford coach Sarah Neeson said the way her team worked back into the game was a pleasing sign.
“Full credit to Kolora-Noorat, they were terrific early,” Neeson said.
“They were getting their hands on the ball first and had some great vocal support from the sidelines so they definitely had the momentum.
“Even though we were down I had faith that the girls would react the right way and fight back and that is what they were able to do.
“What that will do is give us the confidence that no matter what position we are in for the rest of the finals we are not out of the game.
“We have a big game ahead of us against Dennington so we need to keep working hard whether we are in front or behind, today showed we are capable of that.”
Goal shooter Steph Jamieson was again in top form putting in 28 goals while Neeson was a star in defence and centre Liz Byrne controlled the midcourt.
