CAMPERDOWN coach Phil Carse is excited about the Magpies’ future prospects despite suffering a humbling 99-point loss to Koroit to end their Hampden season on Saturday. Carse guided the Pies to a 7-11 win-loss record in his first season at the helm. “It was a disappointing way to finish after a good performance last week (against North Warrnambool Eagles),” he said. “Playing Koroit and Warrnambool is a learning experience for our young players.”
